Friday Quick Takes ~ Florida Edition

I'm back! Did you miss me?

Really?

Huh.

Well, here's what we've been up to anyway.

The boys have been playing with Legos.

Obviously, they've been doing more than JUST playing with Legos.  

They've also been...

Um...

Hmm.

Well, they've been reading about Legos.

And pining over Legos.

~ 4 ~

The highlight of their summer is now a trip to Florida, or, more specifically, a trip to the biggest Lego store they've ever seen.

The Lego store was not the reason for the trip to Florida, however.

To visit my 94 year old (94!) great aunt.  She's an amazing woman and it brought her much happiness to see her niece (my mom) along with me and the boys.

While we were in the area, we took a side trip to visit with the boys' cousins.

It's officially too many kids to get to cooperate for a picture. It was really great being able to visit them for the day!

Some highlights from of what we did when we weren't visiting with family in the area, or at the Lego store:

It was a great trip and the boys had a really wonderful time with their Nana and all the family we had an opportunity to visit.

After taking a few days to recover from our travels/catch up on laundry/sort through pictures/organize school supplies we'll be getting back into the swing of things with school and other activities next week.
